Jeffrey Pollock represented Nicole Alexander in the case of McElroy Deutsch Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP v. Dunlea et al., case number UNN-L-002073-23, heard in the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey. Alexander had requested a countersuit against her former employer, including a malicious prosecution claim, alleging that the firm engaged in marital-status discrimination by firing her based on her marriage. Judge Daniel Lindemann dismissed the malicious prosecution claim without prejudice, stating it was premature until the underlying matter was resolved in their favor.
