“A collie down is never a collie beaten.” My father grew up reading Albert Terhune’s books about his collies at Sunnybank. In Terhune’s books, the collie here (Lad, Bruce, or Wolf typically) would be overwhelmed, injured, and overpowered. But then the dog would pick itself up and fight back. Yesterday’s loss in the Federal Court was a painful one. We disagree with the Court’s ruling and the Court’s failure to wait for the Supreme Court of New Jersey to rule first—but like the collie, we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and get back in the race. A collie down is never a collie beaten.
