Jeffrey Pollock represented Suzanne Glasser Mathews in a case of consolidated appeals on Lillian Glasser, a vulnerable adult (Docket Nos. 209568 and 209568–2). This complex litigation stemmed from multi-jurisdictional disputes over the guardianship and finances of Lillian Glasser, as well as involved allegations of undue influence concerning her will, power of attorney, and a breach of fiduciary duty. The appellate court affirmed the trial judge's extensive findings regarding these matters, including significant rulings on counsel fees. This case reveals a good deal about trust and estate litigation - primarily, that the appeals largely concern money disbursement rather than choices on Lillian's care.
