In IN RE: G–I HOLDINGS INC, f/k/ a GAF Corporation, et al., Debtors New York City Housing Authority, Appellant v. G–I Holdings, Inc., Mr. Pollock represented the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in its claims against G-I Holdings, the successor-in-interest to asbestos-containing building product manufacturers. Federal courts ultimately dismissed NYCHA's tort claims for property damage as time-barred, and subsequently denied its attempts to obtain injunctive relief for asbestos abatement/cost recovery through restitution or indemnity.
