In this article on New York Pet Welfare Ass'n v. City of New York, 2015 WL 7017388, Mr. Pollock was part of a team which challenged a new set of City laws in New York. These laws deprived pet shops from equal protection by restricting its conduct regarding pet selling, yet not applying those same regulations onto retail rescues and shelters. The team also claied that the laws violated due process through infringing on licensure rights and terminating those rights without notice. The City moved to dismiss all claims, and U.S. District Judge Gleeson granted the City's motion and ultimately dismissed the case.
