Mr. Pollock represents plaintiffs in Kimberlee Williams, et al. v. BASF Catalysts, LLC, et al., Civil Action No. 11–1754, a complex class action in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. The lawsuit alleges that BASF Catalysts LLC and its attorneys conspired to prevent thousands of asbestos-injury victims from obtaining fair recoveries. This occurred by various nefarious means, including destroying evidence, hiding evidence, and making false statements regarding the asbestos content of talc products. This case has involved appeals to the Third Circuit and continued in the District Court with extensive and contentious discovery, including the appointment of a Special Discovery Master to oversee and manage complex discovery issues.
