Jeffrey Pollock represented Kimberlie Webb in Webb v. City of Philadelphia, an appeal before the 3rd Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. This matter was concerning her First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion, particularly that Ms. Webb, a Muslim police officer, sought to wear her khimar on duty. Ms. Webb argued that the city's refusal constituted religious discrimination. Mr. Pollock represented her, contending that constitutional claims are not waivable, and advocated for a reversal and remand of the District Court's summary judgment to protect fundamental constitutional rights.
