Jeffrey Pollock Invited to Speak at the 2026 ABA Spring Conference on Environmental Law

Pollock Law is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Pollock has been invited to serve as a featured speaker at the American Bar Association’s 55th Spring Conference on Environmental Law, taking place April 22–24, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis on Nicollet Mall.

This prestigious annual conference—hosted by the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER)—brings together leading voices from government, private practice, academia, industry, and nonprofit organizations. As environmental, energy, and resources law enters a period of rapid regulatory and structural change, the conference offers timely insights to help practitioners navigate an evolving legal landscape.

Jeffrey will join a distinguished panel for the session “50 Shades of Gray: Ethical Dilemmas in Environmental Practice (Ethics Credit)”, a dynamic discussion exploring some of the most complex ethical questions faced by environmental law practitioners today.

This practical ethics session tackles real-world challenges in navigating the “gray areas” of professional responsibility, including:

• Communications with government agencies

• Scope of work product protections for environmental consultants

• Reporting obligations for environmental violations

• Multi-jurisdictional practice ethics and risks

Panelists will examine the criminal implications of false statements under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, using real-world hypotheticals and interactive discussion to illustrate how lawyers can remain compliant, protect their clients, and uphold professional integrity amid evolving scientific and regulatory landscapes.
